Der Stangenantrieb mit seinen Speichenrädern, in kurzer Bauform, lässt die Verwandtschaft der Altbau-Elloks zu den Dampfloks durchscheinen, mit 1’C1‘ Achsanordnung, wie beim Original. Nun hat PIKO dieses Stück Eisenbahngesichte in Miniatur umgesetzt. Das Modell entspricht dem Betriebszustand der Epoche III. Besonderheiten sind die fein zu erkennenden Detaillierungen, wie die Nietung am Dach, angesetzte Teile, wie Sandkästen, Glocke, Bremsschläuche und Handstangen. Zeitgenössische Lampen, sowie die filigranen Scherenstromabnehmer vom Typ SBS 10 runden das Modell optisch ab.
